H U M A N · R E

in community we sit and heal

23. – 29. of October 2023 – Algarve, Portugal

HUMAN · RE retreats have the genuine intention to create a nurturing and empowering space and support for you to go deeper within and on your life’s journey.

HUMAN · RE  does not intend to have an ending or finish line (goodbye to the desire to achieve). It stands for a dynamic process of RE · turning and RE · storing something deeper, more innate and pure within us.

RE · assembling all parts of us into wholeness.

According to the idea of retro nuevo we use ancient techniques and practices with the understanding and knowledge of modern science and research.

This retreat will offer you the opportunity to step back and disconnect from daily life, obligations, the known and the habituated way of living. By being in an environment of honest acceptance, care, grounded presence, allowance and deep connection – we are making space inside to

Reconnect & Returne home to ourselves

Regulate body, mind and emotions

Rethink our way of living

Remember our core values

Relate with loving kindness to ourselves and others

Reclaim our Responsibility and expand our Resilience

Rewild our deepest joy and admiration for life

The main focus of this retreat will be the deep exploration and connection with our own breath through:

FBR is a very unique and powerful combination of Conscious Connected Breathing and Bodywork and is based on the newest understandings of neuroscience, breathing mechanics and the effects of conditioning, past experiences and trauma on the human body.

This practice allows us to tap into our subconsciousness and go beyond the limitations of our mind and reconnect with the deeper wisdom within to:

– restore our breathing mechanics

– regulate our nervous system

– release emotions and reflexes

– process and integrate incomplete past experiences

– find more ease, clarity, confidence and trust

– increase physical, mental  emotional capacity and resilience

Every one of us is unique and so are our breathing mechanics, nervous system responses and every breath journey we embark on. This practice honours everyone’s own history, intention, present constitution and capacity. We listen deeply and work with the intelligence of the body & breath – safely and gradually.

Every afternoon we will have a Breathwork Journey and Sharing Circle together to connect with ourselves and each other on a deeper level.

It is about listening deeply to your needs moment to moment – not about working off another to-do-list. It is designed to support and empower you in tapping into your body’s inner wisdom and deciding from a state of alignment, intuition and capacity in what activities and practices you participate.

– Movement practices (yoga and walks in nature)

– Meditation and pranayama

– Breathwork journey (Facilitated Breath Repatterning)

– Sharing circle

Practices for reflection, expression and integration

– Workshop: How we breathe is how we live (an introduction to the   correlation between life, breath and our nervous system)

– Workshop: Apnea – how to navigate through challenges and stress

– Opening and closing ceremony

– More beautiful opportunities, practices and surprises
